PRIMARY 7 VISIT TO GROTTO

Primary 7 joined the Legion of Mary at the grotto this afternoon to pray the Rosary. 

NORTH ANTRIM CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
Well done to our boys today who competed at the North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol Hurling Championship held at MacUilín CLG. Both our teams battled hard showing excellent skill levels, hard work and a never say die attitude.
 
After fantastic performances in the group stage Dunloy 1 progressed to the Cup final where they narrowly lost to St. Anne’s Corkey in a repeat of last year’s final! Dunloy 2 also had a tough defeat to St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s Ballycastle in the semi-final of the Bowl!
 
A big thank you for a fantastic day out to the aforementioned organisers and our hosts. The boys also got a chance to meet current Antrim Senior Hurling Manager Davy Fitzgerald and to receive a few words of wisdom. Well done boys you hurled superbly 👏🏻

ANTRIM HALF TIME GAMES

Aaron and Darcie took part in the half time game at Corrigan Park on Saturday, during the Antrim v Dublin game. Well done to you both!

CAUSEWAY COAST & GLENS NETBALL TOURNAMENT
We had the privilege of hosting the Causeway Coast & Glens Annual Netball Tournament today at the University of Ulster, Coleraine.
 
A huge congratulations to all the players for their determination throughout the day. Well done to St. Malachy’s, Coleraine and St. Brigid’s, Ballymoney for a highly competitive, fast-paced and entertaining final. Congratulations to St. Brigid’s, Ballymoney, who came out on top to win the final. Thanks to Diane Kirgan and Mrs Campbell for umpiring all the games today, and to The University of Ulster Sports Centre for the superb facilities.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Congratulations to our wonderful Primary 4 children who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
 
Thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to prepare the children for the sacrament and a special thank you to Fr Devlin for leading such a lovely service.
 
We hope you all had a fantastic day celebrating with family and friends.

ANTRIM HALF-TIME GAMES

Well done to Daniel who travelled all the way to Galway to play at half time during the Anreim v Galway game on Saturday!

Well done to our boys today who competed at the North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic football championship held at Pádraig Mac Piarais Park, Dunloy.
 
Both of our Dunloy teams battled hard showcasing excellent skill levels, a lot of hard work and a never say die attitude. After fantastic performances in the group stage Dunloy 1 progressed to the Cup Final where they defeated St. Patrick’s PS, Loughgiel!
 
Dunloy 2 progressed to the Shield Final where they lost a closely contested game to St. Anne’s PS, Corkey.
A big thank you to all the schools who took part today in this event organised by St. Joseph’s PS, Dunloy on behalf of North Antrim CNB.

Well done to our St. Joseph’s Camogie girls who recently competed in the North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol tournament.
After some great displays and hard fought victories in the group stage, the girls progressed to the Cup Semi Final where they narrowly lost out in a great game to Glenann PS! Our girls showed great determination, resilience and skill level over the course of a very enjoyable day.
Thank you to North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol for organising the tournament and to Loughgiel Shamrocks for hosting.

PRIMARY 6 VISIT TO LORETO

Our P6 pupils had a brilliant time at Loreto College on Thursday for their Taster Day! Huge thanks to Loreto for the warm welcome and a fun, inspiring experience. 🌟👏

PRIMARY 7 NETBALL TOURNAMENT

The P7 girls travelled to Our Lady of Lourdes today to participate in a netball tournament hosted by St. Brigid’s, Ballymoney. Our girls progressed to the final against St. Brigid’s, Ballymoney narrowly missing out in a very competitive match. Many thanks to St. Brigid’s for hosting and Irish Society & Ballysally for the great games.
