WORKING TOGETHER
We went outside in groups to follow a set of instructions to draw Elmer the Elephant. Look out for our Elmer art in our classroom.
ICT CODING
We had some help from our Digital Leaders during ICT time. We explored the Scratch JNR app and did some coding.
3D SHAPE
We have been busy investigating 3d shapes and their properties in maths. We took a shape walk around school to try and identify some 3d shapes in our school building.
SUMMER READING
congratulations to those in P3 who completed the Summer Reading Challenge. Our P3 challenge for Autumn Term is to bring a book in for the class to enjoy.
ABL
Our topic this term is School is Cool! And we have been busy in activity based learning time building models of our school.
PUMPKIN ART
Still life drawing of pumpkin and autumn leaves using oil pastels. Everyone produced a fantastic drawing that is now displayed in the school hall.
CLASS TREE
We made a class tree for display to show how we belong together at school. We have been talking about our baptism and how we also belong to God’s family.
NUMICON SUMS
We enjoy using Numicon to help us investigate and record the number stories up to 20.
MATHS WEEK 2025
For Maths week we prepared questions to ask the P1 children about the Maths WeeK Poster. We visited their class and helped them with their counting to 10.
HALLOWEEN
P3 had so much fun on Halloween Dress Up Day - even Mrs McClean dressed up today as 6/7!
SCHOOL IN THE PAST
Our class got to travel back in time for a Schools in the Past workshop with Miss Anderson on Monday. Miss Anderson helped us all to experience what a day in school 100 years ago was like for children. We all agreed that Mrs McClean isn’t actually that bad, after all!
