SAFFRON Ó RETURNS!
We were absolutely delighted today to see the return of Saffron Óg – a much-loved magazine that has been wonderfully rejuvenated after a number of years. It was a real joy to share this special moment with our pupils as each child received their very own copy to bring home.

This fantastic publication celebrates our national games of hurling, camogie and Gaelic football, and we are proud, as a school community, to encourage our children to enjoy reading it with their families, while also taking part in the fun competitions and activities inside.

We are especially proud to recognise that the editor of the new Saffron Óg is none other than our former pupil and former teacher, Mr Shivers. We thank him sincerely for the passion and work that has gone into bringing the magazine back to life, and we wish him every success with it in the years ahead.

A heartfelt thank you also to Dunloy Cuchullains for their valued partnership with our school, which has made it possible for every child to receive their own copy. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

We hope all our pupils enjoy exploring the magazine at home and sharing it with their families!
SHARED EDUCATION TRIP TO CARRICK-A-REDE ROPE BRIDGE
P7 had a fantastic Shared Education trip alongside Cloughmills and Lislagan Primary Schools to Ballycastle today. They had the opportunity to take a boat trip hosted by Aquaholics around the coastline to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. They also enjoyed fun games and activities in the park and on the beach.

We are looking forward to launching our online project together with our partner schools.

P6 TASTER DAY TO LORETO COLLEGE

Our P6 pupils had a fantastic day at the Loreto College Taster Day! They enjoyed exploring the school, taking part in fun activities, and getting a taste of post-primary life. A big thank you to Loreto College for making everyone feel so welcome.

CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL GAELIC

Well done to both our boys and girls Gaelic football teams coming second in the North Antrim tournament today! Both were thrilling finals with a fantastic display of skill and determination!

OUR LADY
During the month of May, we remember and celebrate Our Lady in a special way.

Our pupils and staff at St. Joseph’s have created beautiful May altars and displays throughout the school to honour Mary, our Blessed Mother. Here is a little glimpse of some of the lovely work created.
