PRIMARY 6 TRIP TO RATHLIN
What a day P6 had on Rathlin Island! We spotted puffins at the RSPB Centre, toured the lighthouse, hiked the island, saw seals, made beach art, and even squeezed in a game of football!
A brilliant trip packed with fun and adventure. 🌊🐧

NORTH ANTRIM CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL SKILLS COMPETITION
Well done to our Key Stage 2 boys and girls today who competed at the North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol skills competition held at Glenariffe Oisín CLG.
Our boys and girls showed a lot of skill at the various stations collecting points at each one which were then tallied to give an overall winner in each year group. St. Joseph’s PS had a winner in the P.5 hurling and the P.6 camogie categories. Great stuff everyone!
A big thank you to the organisers and hosts today. A fantastic and well run event which allows our pupils to showcase their undoubted hurling and camogie skills. Well done everyone! 👏🏻
PRIMARY 6 LORETO COLLEGE TOURNAMENT
A huge well done to our P6 representatives who took part in today’s hurling and camogie tournament at Loreto College! Our boys made it all the way to the semi-finals, and our camogie team brought home the Cup! 🏆

A special congratulations to Shannon who was named Player of the Final – a fantastic achievement! 🌟

A brilliant day of sport and teamwork – thank you to Loreto College Coleraine for the invitation and for hosting such a well-organised and enjoyable event. 💚
GARDEN SHOW IRELAND COMPETITION
One of our Afterschool Clubs has entered a competition as part of "Garden Show Ireland" which is on this weekend in Antrim Castle Gardens.

We have had great fun creating our own "Really Rubbish" scarecrows which attract birds!

If you visit the show this weekend you can see both “Daisy's One Stop Bird Shop" and her friend "Farmer Joe" in Scarecrow Alley.

Well done to all the children involved!

HALF-TIME GAMES
We were very proud of our three St. Joseph’s pupils who represented their county today in Hurling and Camogie in the annual Cuman na mBunscol friendship matches v Dublin.
They showed great skill and tenacity against very tough opposition in Corrigan Park today.
A massive thank you to Cuman na mBunscol Aontroim and Áth Cliath for organising a special day which our pupils will never forget and also to Bourke sports for their fantastic kits.

This was followed by a wonderful Leavers' Assembly and Presentation Ceremony, a chance to celebrate all their achievements. A massive thank you also goes to Linda and the kitchen staff for the delicious refreshments, and to all our parents for their continued and unwavering support to the school. We wish our P7s all the very best as they embark on their new adventures!
