WELCOME TO PRIMARY 4

WELCOME BACK

P4 have had a busy few weeks settling back in to school. Lots of happy smiling faces.

SCHOOL COUNCILLORS

Congratulations to our new School Councillors and our new Eco-Councillors in Primary 4. Well done everyone.

LEARNING IS ALWAYS FUN IN PRIMARY 4

GREEN DAY

SHAPE INVESTGATION

HALLOWEEN

SCHOOL IN THE PAST

We had a visitor in school today called Mrs Anderson. She pretended to be a Victorian teacher. We enjoyed all of her lessons, but we are very glad that school today is very different!

LENGTH

We investigated the length of some objects in our classroom. We found some things that measure around one metre and some things that measure about half a metre.

CRAZY HAIR DAY

Today we came to school with crazy hair to raise money for Dunloy Cuchullains. Mrs Donnelly is representing our school in the Quid Games. Good luck Mrs Donnelly.

SHAPES

We worked with our partners to investigate and sort 3D shapes.

CHRISTMAS TREES

We had fun painting Christmas trees for our Christmas art display.

GRANDPARENTS' DAY

PRIMARY 4 ASSEMBLY - BELONGING

Last week, our wonderful Primary 4 pupils took to the stage for their assembly all about Belonging — and what a performance it was!

The children sang beautifully, danced with confidence, and performed thoughtful sketches that showed just how much they belong to their families, their school, and their wider community. Each child shone in their own way, reminding us all that belonging is about being valued, included, and celebrated.

We are incredibly proud of every single one of them. Well done, Primary 4!

WORLD BOOK DAY IN PRIMARY 4

We started the day by taking part in an online live lesson. We designed a book cover using J2 Mix on the iPads. Then we headed to the book swap to pick a new book. We found a cosy spot in our classroom to read our new books. To finish off the day we drew our favourite book while enjoying some buns.
