Indoor 5-Aside

Congratulations Boys on winning the North Antrim Primary Schools Indoor 5-aside event.

Winners presentation from Paul McClean principal CPC, Ballycastle.

Winner- Dunloy

Runners up – St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s, Ballycastle

The North Antrim primary schools season kicked off this morning at CPC, Ballycastle with the annual Indoor 5-aside event.

6 teams took part with St Brigid’s Cloughmills making their first appearance in the top tier.

The event was organised by the pupils of Cross and Passion in conjunction with North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol.

The quality of indoor hurling on display was second to none in what was a very competitive round robin competition, with St Joseph’s Dunloy and St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s setting the standard from the first throw in.

St Anne’s, Corkey and St Patrick’s, Glenariff turned in some good performances not to be outdone by the boys from St Mary’s Cushendall.

Special thanks again to CPC for hosting the event as well as sponsors, Scullion Hurls, PRL and Laverty Hurls.
